Duck Leg Confit
Confit is a classic dish from south-west France. Duck leg confit are marinated in course salt which completely changes their texture, flavour and then very slowly cooked to keep the duck meat tender. Simply add mash, parsnips and wild mushrooms for that authentic French dish.

NOTE: Do not refreeze after thawing
FOR BEST RESULTS DEFROST BEFORE COOKING
Allow to thaw in a refrigerator for 8 hours. Once defrosted the product should be kept refrigerated and cooked or eaten within 48 hours.
OVEN BAKE: Remove from plastic pouch and place in a preheated oven at 200*C cook for approx 15 – 20 mins or until well done (place on lightly greased baking tray in the middle of the oven)
BEFORE GRILLING: Pierce the plastic pouch and microwave(900W) for approx 5 mins.
GRILL: Remove from plastic pouch and place under a preheated grill at a medium heat for approx 3 - 4 mins or until skin is golden brown.
